Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage and session storage, work in a comparable way and keep small pieces of information on your device. In this policy we call all of them “cookies”.

First-party cookies are set by our own store. Third-party cookies are set by another company whose service we use, for example our payment provider. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser or tab; persistent cookies stay for the time listed below or until you delete them.

Storing or reading information on your device is only allowed if you have consented to it or if it is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for (§ 25 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG).

• Strictly necessary cookies are used without consent under § 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG. Any personal data they involve is processed to perform our contract with you or to take steps before it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and for our legitimate interest in a secure, working store (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Statistics cookies are only used with your consent under § 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of anything done before.

These are needed for the store to work: to keep your cart, save your cookie choice, take your payment securely and prevent fraud. They are always active and cannot be switched off in the banner. You can block them in your browser, but the cart and checkout will then no longer work.

If you click “Accept”, we measure how visitors use the store: which pages are viewed, which products are added to the cart and how far visitors get in the checkout. We use this only in summary form to improve the store. We do not use it to show you advertising, and we do not sell it.

The statistics are processed by our store platform provider and its analytics service provider on our behalf, under data processing agreements. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, for example in the United States. Where this happens, it is based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. If you click “Decline” or make no choice, none of the following is used.

• No advertising, marketing or retargeting cookies (for example Meta Pixel, Google Ads or TikTok).
• No social media buttons or plugins that track you across websites.
• No selling or renting of cookie data to anyone.
• If we add any such tool in future, we will only use it with your separate consent and update this policy and the cookie banner first.

Some product pages may show videos or other content hosted by another provider. That content is only loaded when you choose to play or open it. The provider may then set its own cookies, which are subject to its own cookie and privacy policies.

Our store also contains links to other websites, such as our payment provider or carriers’ tracking pages. We have no control over the cookies those websites use and are not responsible for them. Please read their policies before using them.

When you first visit our store, a cookie banner asks for your choice. “Accept” and “Decline” are equally easy to choose, and the store works fully either way. Withdrawing your consent is as easy as giving it: open the banner again with the button below or with “Manage cookies” in the footer and choose again.

Your choice is saved in your current browser and device only. If you use another browser or device, or delete your cookies, the banner asks again.

You can also view, block or delete cookies and stored data in your browser settings, usually under “Privacy” or “Site data”. Instructions are available from your browser maker, for example Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.

If you block or delete strictly necessary cookies, parts of the store may not work, for example your cart may be emptied or checkout may fail. We are not responsible for problems caused by browser settings, extensions or ad blockers you use.

Third-party cookies listed above are set and controlled by the provider concerned, which is responsible for them under its own privacy policy. Names and storage times of third-party cookies can change without notice from the provider. We review this list regularly and update it, but cannot guarantee that it always matches the provider’s latest version.

We may update this policy when our store, the tools we use or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page. If a change requires new consent, we will ask you again through the cookie banner. If there is any difference between this page and our Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy applies.
